Switzerland's annual inflation rate stood at 3% in November, the country's Federal Statistical Office said in a report on Thursday. The figure is unchanged from October's reading.

On a monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged at 104.6 points.

The report noted that the index was stable as a result of "opposing trends that offset each other overall." Housing rentals, gas and files prices and red wine prices rose, while heating oil, fruiting vegetables and hotel accommodation prices fell.
