Europe opens higher ahead of Article 50 trigger

European equities opened in the green on Wednesday as investors wait for the Brexit process to begin.

The DAX advanced 0.41% at 9:13 am CET. Vonovia decreased 0.4% at 9:18 am CET. SAP and Beiersdorf followed with 0.18% and 0.15%, respectively. 

The CAC 40 grew 0.37% at 9:14 am CET. Capgemini decreased 0.14% at 9:04 am CET. Two days ago, the IT services company acquired French startup Itelios. 

The FTSE 100 was 0.39% higher at 9:15 am CET.

Sterling fell 0.35% against the dollar, buying 1.2407 at 9:24 am CET. At the same time, the euro lost 0.22% against the dollar, changing hands for 1.0791.
