Amazon.com Inc. and the Starbucks Corporation discussed placing the former's cashier-less Go stores in a co-branded coffee shop, Business Insider reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, the coffee shops would offer Starbuck drinks and Amazon baked goods, and hot foods, while also utilizing Amazon's "Just Walk Out" technology.

On the other hand, the report indicates that it is currently unknown where in the discussions the two companies are at the moment, as so far they missed their target of opening up to six stores through 2021 and a proof-of-concept store in December 2020.
