HSBC Holdings Plc Chief Executive Officer Noel Quinn declared the United Kingdom had restored its economic credibility after the mini-budget crisis.

Speaking at the Financial Times Global Banking Summit in London, Quinn expressed his confidence that the proper balance between fiscal and monetary policy has "come back." "I think it was a very challenging few weeks, but we have moved on from that, and I think we're much more stable, and the UK is still very investable," he said.

Based in London, HSBC makes most of its capital in Asia. However, it is one of the biggest financial services firms in the United Kingdom, with a market capitalization of more than $100 billion.
