Europe finishes mostly higher after encouraging data

Equities on European stock markets closed mostly in the green on Tuesday as positive reports came from German Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) which predicted that the ease of restrictions in Germany could lead to an economic normalization and eventually to growth. Also, the United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak stated the funding of the workers' monthly wages up to £2,500 would be left unchanged at 80%.

The FTSE 100 rose 1.07% at the end of the session with Vodafone Group PLC plc growing 9.19%. The DAX advanced 0.13% as E.ON SE NA O.N. jumped 3.38%. The CAC 40 fell by 0.21%. ArcelorMittal S.A. fell 5.50%.

The Eurozone currency grew 0.58% to $1.08688, while the sterling increased by 0.21% to $1.23099 at 5:32 pm CET.
