Swiss multinational food and drink corporation Nestle is looking to acquire Bountiful Co. nutritional supplements company, that makes Nature's Bounty vitamins, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The deal is evaluated to be in the mid-single-digit billions of dollars and could be finalized as soon as next week, should the negotiations end successfully.

Bountiful has been planning an initial public offering earlier this month and described itself as the largest pure-play nutrition company in North America and one of three largest in the world.
