Tuesday, 09. November 2021 11:13

PJSC Gazprom announced on Tuesday that it "approved and began implementing the plan for pumping gas into five European underground storage facilities for November."

As part of the plan, the world's largest publicly-listed natural gas company has already determined the volumes and routes of gas transportation. Gas transit through the Yamal-Europe pipeline to Germany also resumed on Monday and doubled by morning local time on Tuesday, TASS news agency reported, citing data from European gas transmission operator Gascade.

In late October, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Gazprom to increase gas supplies to Europe once it completes filling domestic supplies on November 8.
