XPeng's Q3 revenue up by 19.3% to $962.3 million

Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co Ltd, more commonly known as XPeng, announced on Wednesday that its earnings in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 observed an annual rise of 19.3% to reach 6.82 billion yuan renminbi (RMB), or $962.3 million. The company's vehicle sales grew by 14.3% compared to the same trimester in 2021 to hit 5.46 RMB, or $770.5 million.

XPeng's vehicle deliveries advanced by 15% year-on-year to come in at 29,570. It also registered a net loss of 1.59 billion RMB, or about $224.3 million, improving from the one of 2.38 billion RMB, or $335.8 million. Meanwhile, it also reported a diluted net loss per American depositary share (ADS) of 2.77 RMB, or $0.39.

"I am confident that our industry-leading smart and electrification technologies will allow us to build competitive products appealing to a broad customer base," Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) He Xiaopeng commented. Following the release of the report, XPeng's shares rose by 12.81% in premarket trading.
